On Saturday July 26th Haringey Welcome organised an arts and crafts market at Blue House Yard in Wood Green.
Selling hand made jewellery, books, bookmarks and bags donated by supporters and friends, along with Haringey Welcome mugs, badges and our writing project publications, we managed to raise £210 for our ongoing campaign to prevent refugee homelessness. Joining us for this lovely and very busy event were Women for Refugee Women and 12 other stallholders who had responded to our callout when we first had the idea to organise an arts and crafts market. Gallery of pics below.
